The Western Regional Health Authority, a statutory body under the Ministry of Health with responsibility for the management and operation of Public Health Services within the parishes of St. James, Hanover, Trelawny & Westmoreland invites applications from qualified professionals for the following positions below:

Westmoreland Health Department

Consultant Dental Surgeon – HPC/DS 4
District Medical Officer – HPC/MO 2 & 3
Registered Nurse Midwife – RN 2
Registered Midwife – MW 1 & 2
Dental Nurse - HPC/DN 1

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited medical school.
Registration with the Medical/Dental Council of Jamaica.
Current Practicing Certificate
Five (5) years relevant post-registration experience (HPC/MO2 – HPC/MO4 and HPC/DS 5 only)
Postgraduate degree in relevant medical specialty (HPC/MO3, HPC/MO4, HPC/DS 4 and HPC/DS 5 only)
